Hello Everybody,
My name is Ahmed Basfar, and I go to California State University, Los Angeles. As for my Technical Writing class, we are covering the global waste, and how it is negatively affecting our environment. We were offered to volunteer and give back to the community by help cleaning the pacific costal beach in Santa Monica. Our class arranged to meet on Saturday the 17th of September at Santa Monica and go clean our environment. When we arrived there, we were given instructions and handed empty buckets to collect the garbage on the beach. Most of the wastes we found were food wraps and cigarette tips. The experience was interesting and easy. However, It contributes so much in helping out our environment and the age of our planet.
